A World of Happiness:

As we search for what makes us complete, inside and out I have discovered that the moments of beauty, truth and harmony for which we seek are but standing right in front of us. They declare themselves as unity, as passion, as simple and constant as a steady heartbeat. Moments of clarity, stillness and peace exist in profound usualness with pieces of joy riddled across this otherwise complicated nation. Be it the exotic and colourful rituals of carnival or quiet moments at the beach the breadth of being here is one of sanctuary and love; little pieces of happiness found in the faces of those who dwell.

Whispering and Walking:

In Whispering and Walking is a presentation in the art of storytelling. The project began as an introspective work compelled by the vastness of individual experience, understanding and anitdote. Aesthetic and awareness portrait project centered in Africville, a beautiful, unified and long standing Nova Scotian community uprooted and displaced by 1950/60's style "urban renewal." It is a tale in faces, youth and introspection as well as a celebratory and awareness driven photography project; a world understood through knowledge.

A Closer Look:

A Closer Look is a series of mentally and physically intimate portraits. The nearness of the poses, individualism and character is visible yet unspoken in the romantic revealing piece. The portrait becomes the new diary. The piece accentuates light/shadow, form and faces with beauty in full focus.

My Boudoir:

My Boudoir is a work in progress of women shot in 40s, 50s and 60s style undergarments.

Concrete Moments:

Concrete Moments is a piece which documents the urban and natural landscapes that exist among us yet are often unseen. The piece relies on lines, texture, light and shadows. This project has completed works yet is a life long work in progress.

MMA:

Mixed Martial Arts is a compilation of images from various Martial Arts practices and events.

The New Autobiography:

The New Autobiography, a non-orthogonal approach to self depiction. Images are all snapshots of image and text compilations from the journals, notebooks and mind of an artist.
